These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of sinoscrolls.com (the “Site”) and to any purchase you make from Sinoscrolls (“we”, “us” or “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About Our Store
Sinoscrolls sells Chinese scroll painting reproductions, mounted by hand in our own workshop in China, to customers outside China. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order.
2. Our Products
- Our scrolls are fine art reproductions of classical Chinese paintings. They are printed on xuan paper and hand-mounted as scrolls. They are not original artworks, antiques or hand-painted paintings, unless a product page clearly says otherwise.
- We try to show our products as accurately as possible. Because each scroll is mounted by hand, small differences in texture, borders and finish are normal. Colors may look slightly different depending on your screen.
- Sizes are listed on each product page. Please check them before ordering.
3. Prices and Payment
- All prices are shown in U.S. dollars (USD).
- Shipping is free worldwide. Prices do not include import duties, taxes or customs fees charged by your country, which are your responsibility (see our Shipping Policy).
- Payment is made through PayPal at checkout (including card payments where PayPal offers them). Your payment is handled by PayPal under its own terms.
- If your bank or card issuer charges currency conversion or foreign transaction fees, these are your responsibility.
- We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
4. Orders
- After you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. Your order is accepted when we ship it.
- We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing error, we cannot ship to your address, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.
- If you want to change or cancel your order, please email us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help if the order has not yet shipped.
5. Shipping and Delivery
We ship with SF Express International. Processing takes 3 business days, and estimated delivery is 7–12 business days after shipping. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
6. Returns and Refunds
You may return items within 30 days of delivery. Please see our Refund & Returns Policy for the conditions, return shipping costs and how refunds are made.
7. Intellectual Property
The classical paintings we reproduce are centuries-old works. The content of this Site, including our text, photographs, logo and design, belongs to Sinoscrolls or is used with permission, and may not be copied or used without our written consent.
8. Use of the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site, for example by trying to interfere with its security or operation, using it for anything unlawful, or submitting false information.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- The Site and our products are provided “as is,” apart from the commitments in our policies and any rights you have by law.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (such as carrier delays, customs holds, natural disasters or public holidays).
- Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country that cannot be excluded.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site when you place an order applies to that order.
